A community of people sharing common interests in the area of social entrepreneurship, a platform to connect that becomes a community of practice based on trust, respect and contribution.

A framework for developing the skills and knowledge needed for both entrepreneurship and the social impact.

An incubator for social enterprises that become sustainable.

How often do we hear "we can’t do that", or “it works like this as well”? How often do we think that "Maybe it’s doable", “I could do it here too" or "It’s possible"?

We invite you to join the “I can!” current! I can do the things I like, those that make a difference here, that are relevant to the community I belong to, that challenge the status quo and that connect me with people alike.

Our story, your hosts is not new: we lived here, we have studied or worked abroad, we decided at one point that we should return. To do it differently. To create a context that shows us it was worth it. Our chosen path is social entrepreneurship, a path on which we invite you to join us!

History

roPot  was born from the desire to create a space that offers inspiration, ideas and resources for a different kind of initiatives. roPot springs from ideas on what work means when you do what you know best, when you feel that you can be who you are and what you do makes a difference.

Now, roPot is a dedicated team of four people and several contributors who organize development workshops and community connecting events. In addition, we are working with partners with similar intentions in Romania and abroad and we have just started!

we are roPot! With a background in volunteering, business or entrepreneurship. We are trainers and finance people, specialists in marketing or sustainable development, human resources people or IT specialists. In all this diversity, there lies a common quest: what can we create if we put all our capacity for innovation into the common goal of creating positive impact through our work?

Contribution – We believe in the capacity of each individual to contribute; each of us brings something to the community increasing the value of its individuals and the value of the community as a whole.
Innovation – at roPot, we challenge perspectives, we look at what we do from another angle and generate entrepreneurial ideas that bring something new.
Relevance – We always wonder why we do what we do? All Community actions succeed in creating a positive difference in the lives of others.
Action - Our goals are tangible results and changes that occur. At roPot we focus on making things happen!
Exploration - Any interaction, event, working meeting is an opportunity to explore who we are, in what we exceed and how we can maximize our added value to the community.
Co-creation – We  listen carefully, we speak with intent, build on each other's ideas. Real value arises from our multiplied capacity thorugh the co-creation of solutions.
